Exploring New Frontiers in Science with The Gordon Research Conferences (GRC)

The Gordon Research Conferences, initiated by Dr. Neil E. Gordon of the Johns Hopkins University in 1931, aim to promote discussions and the free exchange of ideas at the research frontiers of the biological, chemical and physical sciences. In 1996, Board members of The Serono Foundation unanimously approved the decision to support the efforts of The Gordon Research Conferences in sharing scientific and medical knowledge. Since 1996, The Foundation supports at least five Gordon Research Conferences every year. The conferences' topics are usually related to cellular mechanisms, human reproduction, immunology and neurology.
